Roach sounds like he is already softening a bit -- I think in another 6 months he won't even talk about raising rates again. It's too late -- NOTHING is going to fix things.

It's not just demand resulting from consumer binge -- there are long term supply problems underpinning the new commodity bull. It doesn't go away, IMO, even if the debt bubbles start to get popped.

Near term, I think a big rally in the SA golds is coming -- just technicals point to it, IMO.
