It is your opinion that recruiting is going badly.

That is not my opinion.

I have been pointing out for some time that our history shows that voluntary military recruiting dips substantially in the third year of our wars. Also that I see no reason not to expect the same in this one.
Up until a few days ago, that is all I've said.

Now I am pointing out that The Commanding General of our 205,000 man military reserves has forecast a substantial dip in voluntary enlistments for this year.

Also that some military recruiters I've spoken to in their field offices have told me they can no longer fill their enlistment quotas.

I even admitted right here that this evidence in still imo anecdotal not conclusive.

But, Ive been around long enough to know that bad trends begin with...bad trends. That is why I posted the info.

Since DOD has been announcing huge benefit increases very recently, I don't believe I'm alone in this concern.
