I'm just about all cash now as well. By the end of the day though, I'll be probably be long NG and short NEM.

A comment on CNBC this morning from one of their guests.... "The FED usually keeps tightening until something breaks"...

Agree, but don't you think we'd probably have a 6-12 month window before it became apparent that the CB's were in fact late or too late?

I'm guessing I'm saying that it's rare that markets turn 100% on a dime. There are good arguments that this will end in deflation, but there are also good arguments for inflation. In addition, we can have inflation in some segments and deflation in others. I tend to think if the Dollar falters more we could still see inflation in commodities even in a global downturn (at least in Dollar terms) while having deflation in most other asset prices. Not married to any line of thinking just yet. Waiting to see where the dice land.
