I still remember in late 1974 when one of my colleagues at the DOD told me I was crazy to be messing with stocks and options. "This is what you need to buy if you really want to make money" He handed me a bag of Franklin half dollars. 31 years later, he is still not at breakeven on those turkeys. In nominal terms. In inflation-adjusted terms, he is really sucking wind. <G>
