Don't get me started on that issue. The airlines cut corners where they should not be - like outsourcing the mechanic work to countries where they don't even fly, American Airlines now introducing pay for your meals which will be provided only if the flight duration is greater than 3 hours, cutting on Soda etc. Honestly they should learn a thing or two from the new private carriers in India who charge a lot less per mile, treat you like a king and have been operating very efficiently for the last 8 years or so. I am sure it is the same success story in many airlines who have their house in order.
