That is where appearances deceive. Dems demagogue big businesses, but not all big business. They attack only those industries that are targets of trial lawyers, and that fail to donate to their coffers. When do you recall Dems attacking big auto? They only do during contentious union negotiations. They used to attack investment bankers, but Bob Rubin changed that, and they are now Dem donors, and only Eliot Spitzer uses them to climb the political ladder. They attack big tobacco, health insurance, and pharmaceuticals; these are all targets of the trial bar.

Big entertainment donates much to the Dem party. All unions are in bed with Dems, but only the teachers union gets veto power over the national platform. The trial bar is the other major funder. Without big media, Dems would be powerless; the liberal biased FMSM swung enough votes to make a ten percent difference in the Presidential election.

Remember that without big industry, you could not have big unions. Parasites that kill their hosts perish.

Leftwingnuts would deny this, but IMO they are not privy to the real workings of the Democrat party. They just get their marching orders from the NYT and the clone media that echoes the NYT coverage.
