It was understood I was to make recommendations to Trading Places members; agreements were both oral and written; in fact, I accepted before I was told to post as skibum or even knew what my salary would be, which never was the reason I accepted; I was very interested in why I would even be asked to work as a TP analyst in the first place. You post about DTO. Day Traders Online had one analyst known as "DT." Several different analysts were employed as DT, as lead analyst. Like at TP and skibum, all traders knew that DT and skibum were making recs on behalf of DTO and TP as analysts. For example, traders knew this individual's function, it was completely disclosed. When you have people in the sites and here at SI who are really brokers and site operators, but claim they have nothing to do with those businesses, are really just honest and super-profitable traders and clients of say Berber and Rea, advocating scalping for teenies and 68 trades per day, you don't know their true function, that's a major and material deceit.BTW, they hired you as a monitor from what I saw. I am sure if you posted your contract with them it would clear some things up. To Tony's credit, I will say this: I contacted him two years ago asking if he would be able to provide any information about Berber, Moor and Rea. He said what you did today, that trading only intraday as the industry set things up was sure to lead to ruin. To my knowledge, Tony never engaged in commission kickbacks, though I am all but certain he must have known that others were engaged in these practices. So yes, for this, he deserves great credit for not playing ball with the likes of Berber, if I'm correct and I believe I am, because he did not issue hundreds of recs every day, at least he laid out a rationale for trading his recs, though it seems there were some disclosure problems. I still believe Tony deserves a second or fourth chance, and also anyone else who comes forward and accepts responsibility. In the end, when a wrongdoer shows some remorse for what they did, and tries to make restitution, I'm willing to forgive, if not forget. Some of my former litigation adversaries would certainly confirm that about me. Glad we can agree on some things at least.
