I watched this being done in the early 70s for folks who needed a tax loss--brackets were as high as 90% back then. A trade was created and winners and losers were assigned by need. For hillary it was a way to get campaign financing for bill i would imagine. But bygones. There is so much corruption in the way campaigns are now run that to just attack her for this sleazy technique probably ignores worse stuff that goes on even today. mike
