By that time I was on my 3rd Corvette. 5 speed gearboxes were a dream not yet (by GM) achieved. I know this is esoteric and trivial, but those same trivial things are the stuff that exposed Rathergate. Blogs need to be on the mark or they will lose their impact. I guess I wouldn't give a dime, but I Really Wanted a 5 Speed in those early Corvette days!
