Are you really going to watch the skiing that's going to be on TV?

A19: Hope you enjoyed the skiing...I played paddle tennis this morning and finished up like Roddick did the other day -- my serve got away from me in the final set and my partner and I had WAY TOO MANY unforced errors...Time to put the book The Inner Game Of Tennis on my reading list again...I've been busy today with a project and spent some time visiting my 91 year old grandmother...I just got in and am looking forward to the finals of the Australian Open...I really want Safin to win (I think he has matured a great deal and he is on a roll after upsetting the #1 player in the world)...I hope this match this evening goes into 5 sets...May the best player win...I'm about ready to pop a pizza in the oven and get a cold beer out of the fridge (unfortunately, I don't have Fosters...will have to settle for a Molson)...;-)

Safin Fightback Secures Aussie Crown

What a tournament...We had a chance to see some great tennis...Hewitt played well...Yet, Safin was able to take his game to another level and prove that he is the man who may be able to really challenge Roger Federer in 2005.
