Every time I think about buying more, they do something that reminds me that they operate like a pink sheet crap shoot. The initial PR didn't even mention the .175 and so gives the impression that it was very favorable financing. The .175 isn't bad, but why the effort to mislead? Further, with the demand as high as it is, and with all their great vehicles, why can't they get finacing that looks less like vulture financing? Perhaps if they cut the perks and salaries for a while, until they get this looking more like a legitimate company, banks and lenders would give them a decent loan and then PR their participation in this patriotic endeavor. No protection from and there is a strong incentive for them to short and bring the price down as you suggested. Given the large fan club, it may not happen and the stock was acutally fairly strong. Those in the know already brought this down from the highs in the more typical P&D. Perhaps they are satisfied and will now look to take care of their extremely loyal shareholder base. I know there are some very large public shareholders who read these boards. I really can't understand why they don't plunk themselves down in the management office and read them the riot act. Sounds like they need some new blood in the management team. I'm not a basher, just a rant here, and I don't profess to be an expert or even to know more than the basics about this company as it is one of my smallest holdings. As I said, I really wanted to add to my shares because I like the concept but their capital structure is out of control and they are anything but shareholder friendly. Large shareholders should be grabbing the CFO and forcing him to read very large volumes by financial writers. Keep him in a room and don't let him out until he cuts all the fat out of the budget, cuts management perks and uses the savings for increasing production. Tell him he goes to Guantamo the next time he even approaches the subject of dilution and semi toxic financing. Cripes - given the Iraq war, this stuff should promote itself. Reporters all over the USA would run with this story. No need to hire a tout.
