re: Yesterday, on the news, they were showing Iraqis getting psyched to vote. Some seemed to be really getting into it. I don't think it was worth all that we paid to make it happen but if they pull it off, it will be a good thing. I can't help but be psyched by these folks voting. You can't dismiss it, it's a great thing, and makes me very, very happy. But it has to be put in context. The first part is, will it make any difference. Will their lives be better or worse, will 200K+ dead be justified? The second context is what it has done to this country, and our place in the world. Tomorrow should be a very interesting day. But not the end of the story. John
