And frankly, we were the ones that started the momentum towards free trade and Democracy. How did we let the Neo's highjack the government, and set us on this path?

So are you proposing an isolationist trade policy and trying to keep other countries down? Sure sounds like it. Close the borders, don't let any other country develop b/c they may gain on us. They can starve...we don't want them diluting our world influence! How absurd.

It's pretty logical that our total influence would diminish when some rather large countries are developing rapidly. It has nothing to do with Iraq at all. Free trade, perhaps. War on terror, no.
