Thank you Laz for your support. Mike has referred to me as Naive more than once. I am able to admit that because I don't profess to know everything. The reason that I am on these boards is to learn but in learning I have to share and when my position differs I am willing to listen. I might not agree but I have not disparaged anyone, called them names or tried to diminish them as Mike just did me. It must be wonderful to be so all knowing that one doesn't tolerate another opinion. Mike does not post much so I cannot challenge him on anything. When one doesn't stick out ones neck and take risk one is safe and in being safe is free to be on the attack rather than try to assimilate where someone else might be coming from. Maybe I had the wrong teachers. Anyway the reason I respect you is that you have always been reasonable and courteous.. I know that I really don't belong on this site of yours .. as I differ so much with everyone who posts here. And I get my tuppence a lot. However, when wrong I am fine with admitting it. I did know that Stalin was terrible.. I knew that he sent more of his country men to the Gulags.. and Siberia than we had numbers for. I never supported him. I have the feeling you think that I did. Sometimes when I write posts on this thread I know that I will get my head handed to me..and if not that at least a lot of contradictory opinions. Today there were 23 responses in my box. If I say, I liked Kennedy and thought he was a terrific president that will elicit, I am sure, a lot of rebuttals. However, those are my feelings. I should like to bring some posts to your thread...LINKED... not just opinions..but some times I am scared to do it. So Mike can say that I need a keeper. Some days I feel as though I do too. (:>)
