I have followed RDU for about a year. It was one of my recos. I know one of the former geos for a previous outfit of mangagment. They called it Mar-West, which sold out to Glamis. Surprisingly the family mentioned had many properties in Nicaragua. The Sandanista thing forced them to drop them. Some of the Rosario properties were in the Islands. Dominica, and Haiti. They also had stuff in Nic., I understand. We are talking major mines here. 200K ounces per year.

Few of the CA countries are good to operate in, but the Islands are OK, and Guyana. I have reservations about Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama. Gov'ts are too fractious. Nic was always good except for a brief period. Most of the Island hopping companies get ignored. I can think of a few but they are off the radar screen. Few people remember history. Columbus became fabulously wealthy mining gold in Hispaniola. There is lots left. I would have to look into the database and take a look to see how they have done.

The geo mentioned above is a CA expert. I had ideas about doing some things in Mexico as he has some properties there that have promise. Mexico is dicey, but there is a chance that the risk reward may be worth it. So far we are just looking at it.
