"If not, there is no cause to call our invasion illegal regardless of what happened in the UN afterward."

I must of missed the part of the charter that allows for the members of the Security Council to enforce UN resolutions with out approval. For your logic to work, that must be the case. And you wouldn't claim something that wasn't true, would you?

Bush's illegal invasion in March, 2003

You guys are hilarious parroting this garbage. Do you claim that Hussein lived up to the terms of the cease-fire from the 91 gulf war?

Yes, he did........where have you been?

If not, there is no cause to call our invasion illegal regardless of what happened in the UN afterward.

Why do you think people are so upset......there were no WMDs and no ties to al Qaida.

Re: Do you claim that Hussein lived up to the terms of the cease-fire from the 91 gulf war?

I assert that based on the results of the Iraq Survey Group led by David Kay and Charles Duelfer that George Bush led the U.S. military into an illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq based of a fraudulent misrepresentation of the material facts in 2002 and 2003.

Furthermore, Bush did everything in his power to frustrate Hans Blix's inspection teams from completing their work.

Additionally, when Saddam Hussein came into compliance with UN resolutions demanding that he give a full accounting of his WMD stockpile in late 2002, it was the United States government that STOLE the 11,800 page document from UN Headquarters in New York and then proceeded to redact 8,000 pages of the report that implicated five separate agencies of the U.S. government and 24 U.S. corporation in arming Hussein's regime with WMDs, precursors and technical consultation.

The U.S. invasion of Iraq was a crime. It ranks in the class of crime as the Nazi invasion of Poland in September, 1939. No legal scholar would claim otherwise, except when engaged in a fraudulent misrepresentation of the facts.
