Peter, Re: Condi. If you wish to be persuasive, you will have to prove your allegations. This sleazy woman sat in front of the Kean-Zelikow 9/11 Commission and perjured herself when she claimed, astonishingly, that no one in "her circles" could have possibly thought that anyone would use a commercial airliner as a terrorist missile. That defies a history of dozens of "war game" exercises conducted by the military, by the National Reconnaissance Office on the day of 9/11/01(!!), by the FBI and by the CIA. Ms. Rice was blatantly lying. There is no question about this. She's unfit for office. She should be behind bars, locked up for her total and utter failure to protect this nation from an already anticipated terrorist attack on 9/11/01. Furthermore, planes being used as missiles was a common motif in WW II with kamikaze flights being well-known. Ms. Rice must have been aware of the plane that landed on the White House grounds in front of then President Clinton's bedroom. Surely she must have been aware of the distraught FedEx pilot who nearly succeeded in crashing a cargo jet into the Memphis operations center. And unquestionably she should have been in the loop on the planned but unexecuted Operation Bojinka, an al Qaeda plot to hijack a dozen U.S. jets over the Pacific and either blow them up or dive them into West Coast landmarks. She must have been aware of an al Qaeda plot to use a jet to destroy the Eiffel Tower in Paris. She must have been aware, prior to 9/11/01, as she lay sleeping on a U.S. aircraft carrier off the coast of Genoa, Italy tinyurl.com at the G-8 meeting that she was on the carrier in order to protect herself and the President from the potential attack from the air which was countered both by sheltering the President and Rice on the carrier and by the installation of a mobile anti-aircraft missile system in Genoa. And don't get me started on the lies associated with the WMD fraud perpetrated by the Bush Administration. Ms. Rice is a liar. She's a scoundrel and she's completely unfit for office.
