Yiwu the reason I can talk with certainty is because what I wrote -and predicted- in 1989 what was going to happen.

<<THE JUJITSU TACTIC

Structural discrepancies and inefficiencies which have caused LDCs (low developing countries) backwardness can be used as a spring board for take off. They have to use a jiu-jitsu technique. To use the power of the attacker for its own defence and defeat the attacker. They have to maximize their own capabilities.
For example, the surplus of educated people can be used as LDCs own advantage. As described above. Concentration of income prevailing in LDCs can also be taken advantage of. “Le Brun reports for Latin America that 45% of manufactured products and 74% of durable goods are consumed by 5% of the population” Duller, H.J., Development Technology, London, Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1971. In Brazil this allowed a industry geared to serve a small market of sophisticated consumer buyers. The label business also gives LDCs a possibility to tap the demanding consumers of MDCs (more developed countries). This would give them experience in production of high quality products. A typical example is Lupo’s export of clothing to the U.S. market and Perdigão’s export of cut pieces of chicken to Japan.
This can be coupled with learning by doing, due to the availability of a big market of customers for less sophisticated products.>>

China has been doing just that!!! First wave, attract the guys to learn by doing. Then counter attack.

What I predict now, is the next wave. Create the purchasing power on the developing countries to create markets.

In 1990 and send my writing to Frank Feathers one of the top 100 futurist in the world being over 90% accurate.

I had written to him that I planned to publish a book and wanted his views. He said chapters of my book were books in themselves and I had a lot to draw from.

I gave up publishing it and send the whole work to him. What I wanted was to have the ideas go around.

That because Frank Feathers was in the conference circuit -Asia was about to boom then- going to top universities, and talking to the top brass in governments. I wanted him to suck all the ideas of my book and spread them real good.

MY BOOK IS HAPPENING ALL OVER THE PLANET!

I was right and should have invested money into publishing it. Next perhaps I will publish.
