I personally would like to see some kind of Statue erected in Baghdad to recognize America's contribution to the freedom of every Iraqi for self determination.

I agree a memorial to our servicemen and women and particularly those who made the supreme sacrifice is in order.

I would like to see Iraq a little more secure and the US a little further along in the WOT before the memorials get built.

We have lots of work to do. The partying can wait.

Here's some links on Iraq from yahoo....The vote yesterday was a first milestone in a long path forward for the Iraqi's....We didn't even have a WWII Memorial until last year...60+ years later....Maybe the Iraqi's will want to be a bit quicker about a Memorial than we were...but they have many things to get past and through first.... Yessterday was an awesome beginning however!

Note the way the news yesterday is framed....***
