I disagree.

Your viewpoint makes it appropriate to call the foreigners who attacked America on 9/11 insurgents?

What we have in Iraq now is much more serious than the label insurgent or terrorist. This is now an unprovoked attack on a freely elected democratic country by personnel supported, armed and equipped by foreign nations.

If Syria and Iran continue to feed guns, ammo and personnel into Iraq for terrorist purposes, Iraq is going to be justified in declaring war against those countries. And I bet we support that declaration.

Yes, they want a negative word for terrorists, so that terrorism is not regarded as a legitimate form of warfare - for one side only, mind you.
