Hemlo:

Thanks, I was curious about Hemlo because Richard Hughes is claiming that he has found a similar (hydro-thermal shear hosted) deposit which he believes is the source of the richest Klondike placers (Bonanza and Eldorado creeks). Hughes supposedly was instrumental in discovering Hemlo, as well as Sleeping Giant and Belmoral. All this according to the web site of Klondike Star, the company that has acquired Hughes' Klondike claims.

This might be of interest to the board since Dasher just optioned some hard rock prospects near Dawson. I tried to get Claude interested in Klondike Star, but he does not seem too enthusiastic about Canadian deposits.

I am kind of intrigued with the company just from the historical Klondike gold rush angle. Jack London's 'Call of the Wild' was one of my favorite books as a kid. But from an investment point of view, Klondike Star looks pretty expensive. And in spite of a beautiful fancy web site, it's hard to figure out exactly what they have and what their plans are.
