LOL. And yet again it puts Rumsfeld/Bush/Wolfowitz complete incompetence back up front (except in the media who has become stupid yet again) in proving that WITH ENOUGH TROOPS there can be more or less security.

With the US military clampdown, there were still some suicide bombers and assorted shootings and mortars or whatever (now a natural part of Iraqi life) but fewer than the low expectations that the Republicans conjured up. 'It's going to be a bloodbath!'

Love those Republican low expectations.

So the obvious conclusion is this: 2 years, 1400 US Troops, 30K US casualties, 100K Iraq dead, $300B weren't necessary. It simply took enough troops on the ground as the professional military kept telling the incompetent civilians in the Bush administration.

What a terrible, stupid, ridiculous waste.
