"Only $9 Billion!"

It would be highly ironic if they found that the money was being funneled into the insurgency and Al Quida....

hi John,

you and tejek must just be fuming at the 60% + participation of the Iraqi people in the election. When will you admit that it was right for Bush to help the Iraqi people gain their freedom?

The Iraqis had to vote under the threat of death. However, they want freedom so much, that they came in droves anyway. This is the most powerful message the world can ever hear, which says "I want freedom!"

And you and tejek want to abandon them now? The false caring that the two of you display on these threads towards the Iraqis makes me sick.

Only $9 Billion!

Audit: U.S. lost track of $9 billion in Iraq funds
Pentagon, Bremer dispute inspector general's report
Monday, January 31, 2005 Posted: 0412 GMT (1212 HKT)

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Nearly $9 billion of money spent on Iraqi reconstruction is unaccounted for because of inefficiencies and bad management, according to a watchdog report published Sunday.

Bremer said publicly........what can you expect....Iraq was at war.......under those circumstances, its difficult to maintain good accounting practices.

Its seems the right only has high standards when its in reference to others and not themselves.
