lol

I'm sure I've seen every DK movie growing up and the line seems real familiar though I'm sure I never realized he was singing about the Giants. Danny was so quick with his words on alot of his tunes, diddies, or jingles.

I know the Giants cos I was a Dodger fan <g>.

Mike McCormick - I had a few of his cards from around probably '67 to '70ish.

Bill White was an awesome player but I forgot he was with the Giants and associated him with the Cards.

Wagner, I believe, also played for the Indians .. perhaps b4 the Giants?

I was trying to think of pitchers and the only other who might have been back in the period you're covering that I can sort of picture from my cards was a guy named Sanford or maybe Stanford? I might be way off .. memory getting worse with the years. -s

Sal Maglie was much earlier I think (early '50s?). And, Perry later (late 60s &/or early 70s). Man, I wish I had those cards today. Or, to be that young again.

I posted that whole song here. Message 20306827
It was cool; I was a Dodger fan 25 miles from Candlestick :-)

Unfortunately, I think that was the year Sandy went out with his bad arm, and the Giants beat the Dodgers in a playoff. Ugh
