News flash: you don't have to wait.......my "dramatically negative predictions" are in fact reality. Iraqis are not free......they are threatened with mayhem and violence 24/7. College students must carry guns to classes........particularly the women. Rape and abductions of children for ransom are common in Baghdad. But forget security and freedom, the Iraqis don't even have the basics........electricity, food and clean water. As for the tax cuts, you don't have to wait for dire consequences on that one either. The US's financial situation grows more precarious by the day. The dollar is at an all time low and unemployment remains over 5% after two years of Bush 'prosperity'. The GDP perked up a little last year only to slow down by the end of the year. Crude prices continue to remain very high. Inflation is on the rise. This is the most negative economic expansion since WW II. The surprise though is not that the bad has already hit but that you all continue to make believe things are grand. I have not seen such commitment to an ideology since...well OBL. Has to make you wonder. ted
