So you think it's possible to employ everyone in the U.S.? What are you smoking? Some level of unemployment is a natural part of any economy.

If Taiwan Semiconductor can run at 103% capacity (as they did in Q3 I believe), then why can't the US employee 103% of the population? :-)

Full employment........now where did I say that?

The unemployment rate at 5.4% is decent when compared to historical figures and it's lower than in the first four years of the Clinton presidency. See for yourself: data.bls.gov;

Its decent because had the unemployment rate so low when he left. Bush is lucky.....but it won't last.

GDP is growing faster than at any time during the Clinton administration. This must just really bother you that Republican economic policies are more effective than Democratic ones.

Check out the quarters in 2004. The first quarter was huge.....something like 8+%......its been downhill ever since. I would not boast too loudly. ;~)

Have you listened to any of the earnings reports? Companies are not doing well. Forward guidance stinks. There are a few exceptions like INTC and MSFT, and the defense, oil and the upper end consumer companies. The rest are not that happy. You talk about the markets doing well......well, its not that well......its a stock picker's market. Returns for many traders are not that good.....I don't care what the averages say.
