The Canadian scene has not provided very much of late with regards to metals. It would be about time that it does. Canada keeps slipping down a notch every year when it comes to being a world leader in metal mining production. They can still claim to be a leader in uranium however. And of course there are those tar sands in Alberta and the diamonds. But when it comes to metals, Canada has not been keeping up too well.

JMHO. I wish the reality was different. I wish it was like the old days.

And what about Canadian gold?

Any new mines open in the last 12 months?

PS- tyke, weren't you the one arguing in the recent past about how gold prices having not gone up in C$ would have a negative impact on Canadian gold mines?
