Although I grew up in the mid-west,my family's background is in
the south. When I look at their conservatism and those
of others who act like them, I'm not sure how a Democrat will
ever make inroads in the midwest or south unless that
Democrat lives there.

PS: On PBS's American Experience there is a show
about Castro this week. It comes on here at 9 pm.
