Elroy, My understanding is not correct? No, it isn't. The hostility is fostered not because Israel isn't a tolerant nation. The hostility is fostered because the power-mongers in the neighboring lands realize that the only unifying force they have is their common hatred of Israel. It's a great way to divert the attention away from the real problem. The Palestinians are merely pawns. No one gave a rat's ass about them until they became the perfect rallying point for anti-Israel sentiment. Tenchusatsu
