Hmm. They had a mayor, so it must've been an incorporated city. Besides, I don't recall there being many farm workers around. Tobacco farming was rather labor-intensive, especially at pullin' time. In fact, some school districts only started the school year after the kids were done pulling tobacco. Nah, I don't think Mayberry was much of a farming district. ;-)
