Chris Matthews, a confirmed liberal, but often hard headed and pro-american in outlook on IMUS this morning. In talking about kennedy and cos reaction to the iraqi elections, he said and i quote "I thought being a democrat meant being for democracy". DUH. Imus who is also against the war commented that Kerry's performance on Meet the Press was baffling on sunday. And then both matthews on imus started dumping on harry reid as "precious" just like Daschle. Matthews who had cut in teeth in politics working for Tip O'Neill said Tip would have freaked with democrat reps being so precious. Old dems wanted guys to say what they think. It was fascinating radio and again say little for the new Dean/Kerry or is it Dean/Wormer led dem party. mike
