If not incentives then how are they going to move their stuff? Who can afford to buy $40,000 trucks without $10,000 off and 0% loan for 7 years?
I think GM is still pretty aggressive with incentives.

MILAN (AFX) - Italy's new car registrations in January fell 3.70 pct to 212,568, from 220,724 in the same month a year earlier, said the ministry of infrastructure and transport

Fiat SpA brand registrations fell 8.27 pct at 43,472, or a 20.45 pct market share, from 47,391, or a 21.47 pct share a year earlier, it said

Fiat's Alfa Romeo brand registrations fell 38.14 pct to 5,732, or 2.70 pct market share, from 9,266, or 4.20 pct, it said

Fiat's Lancia brand fell 10.38 pct at 9,803, or 4.61 pct market share, from 10,939, or a 4.96 pct market share, it said

Ford Motor Co registrations were up 8.42 pct at 18,344, or 8.63 pct of the market, against 18,579 or 8.42 pct, it said

General Motor Corp's Opel brand registrations were down 1.88 pct at 18,087, or a 8.51 pct market share, from 18,434, or 8.35 pct, it said

Renault rose 21.0 pct to 15,597 or 7.34 pct market share, from 12,890 or 5.84 pct in January 2004, it said

Citroen was down 8.07 pct at 14,782, or 6.95 pct market share, against 16,080, or 7.29 pct, it said
