In 1994 some alive person would have to get faxes with your credit reports from credit agencies and manually go thru them.
Now it's done in a second by the computer and credit decision itself is made by the computer.
Plus RE wasn't doing great in 1994. This time is truly different!

They make up on volume. It's what called profit-free risk. -g-
I read that CFC is very aggressive in sub-prime -- the only place where margins are still pretty good. May be they want to keep those sub-prime loans on books using money from CDs.
