The national average for providing a quality education at a major university is currently about $18,000-$25,000

I watched a "slash and burn" piece on "60 Minutes" last Sunday about private two year technical colleges. They are ripping off these poor people by getting them student loans and then giving them poor return for their money.

This attack on Capitalism, while having merit, is NEVER accompanied by a piece showing the waste that public universities can be for students. I saw how bad they were back in my headhunting days, and they seem to be worse even now. Imagine the job opportunities for a 22 year old with a BA in "ethnic studies."
