<<Save your money. Pay cash. >>

I did, then tried to get a credit card for travel and couldn't get it. My wife was a college student whom I was supporting and she got the card I couldn't get.

When I finally got a card I make sure to charge at least $200 per month. That makes me more credit worthy than paying cash for my house.

I charge just about "everything", every month, to Airline Mile's credit cards (2), groceries, telephone, internet dsl, electric etc,etc..
Always have a little 'walking around cash' for minor purchases..Pay bill "IN-FULL" every month..Most of my air travel is free!!!

Everything I 'charge', is what I would be writing check's to pay anyway..
Works great for me...FWIW
