I added it to my Netflix list. I've been watching "Ran" which is a Japanese re-telling of "King Lear."

It's a little over long at 2 hours and 40 minutes but it's a beautiful movie.

I haven't found too many good reads lately ... I'm partway through "Mars" by Ben Bova. The problem with science fiction these days is that to anyone who has read it in the past it is the same story told over and over. This one has the same multi-national/cultural crew on a strange planet angle that I think I've read at least a dozen times. Arthur C. Clarke wrote one just like it.
