Here's an article on platinum fundamentals from Kitco:

kitco.com

At the end of the article, the author makes a plug for an unnamed Canadian company that I assume is Elgin Resources. I've looked at Elgin, and prefer Southern Platinum, since it is not only cheaply valued relative to reserves and resources, but is already in production and ready to take advantage of high platinum prices or a lower rand right away. I've also had a second look at Anooraq, but since its merger with Pelawan, it is much more complicated to determine what it's value is, although its market cap is now actually close to SPC (as of today ARQ/ANO is $148 million Cdn vs $205 million Cdn for SPC).
