But it seems the Muslim world wants to blame the U.S. for their lack of freedom on the one hand, but blame us for occupying Iraq when we fight for freedom on the other hand. Seems pretty hypocritical to me.

You know what's hypocritical? Saying that we went there in the name of freedom, after it had become obvioius we couldn't find WMDs of course, the real reason given the UN and congress for invading, especially after the man responsible for that invasion campaigned on a note of "humble foreign policy and no nation building"....and is now shaping a policy of "bringing democracy to every corner of the world" so obviously intended to make the new intent fit the mistake....and taking heat for the words such that daddy has to come forward and publicly dimish the statement. That's hypocritical.
