As soon as the virus achieves efficient human to human transmission, it will quickly get out of control. So far the transmission appears to be limited to family members who are not as cautious as health care workers. Health care workers use "universal precautions" which assume that anything biological is infectious is handled accordingly.

If, in spite of their precautions, they get infected, then the virus can probably transmit efficiently and will be like a human flu virus, which can move around the world with remarkable speed.
