I think the US will get away with its economic "terrorism" .......... at least until another society fueled by such intense consumerism develops to rival the US. My problem with the budget deficits is that they are such a waste. We could have done so much more domestic and international good with the incredibly huge sums of money blown in Iraq for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Reagan did the same shit with his "Star Wars" stupidity. But in the end, he's somehow credited with ridding the world of communism. What nonsense. If Bush garners a twisted positive legacy like Reagan, I'll be shocked. But then again, I've been shocked by the idiotic Gipper's canonization. /john
