Doesn't require any awareness at all from me.

I would not mind that much on utility bills,[I don't pay any] but I like to know how much and when my credit cards are paid.

I Efiled my tax returns two days ago. H&R Block was used for Federal. I simply went through their on-line questionaire and had them file it, no charge. I then did the same for my Hawaii State direct with their on-line site. I was surprised to find they had one this year, and it was excellent. No hassle.

So, easy file, no charge, and didn't even cost me a stamp.

I see the benefit in that but I prefer to know when the payment is going out and how much. Also I vary some of my payments based on how much I have in my account. I usually want to pay a lot more then a minimum payment on my credit cards but I do carry a balance on one card and I can't afford to automatically pay the whole balance.

My back sends me e-mails about the payments being due (usually a couple of weeks in advance) then I go to the bank site and schedule the payment.
