Hitler was against the trade unions and favored the industrialists. Heck, many of them funded his rise to power and Hitler rewarded loyalty. The only ones that wound up in the camps were the ones that didn't support him or tried to do things like hide Jews. Hitler punished those that didn't toe the line. The problem is we get our info from mainstream text books....they will lie to you every time. ;~) ted

Hitler was against the trade unions and favored the industrialists. Hitler was for the industrialists who would favor the interests of the government, or since he controlled the government, Hitler was for the industrialists who would support him and his agenda. He wasn't about supporting their agenda. He would treat them decently well if they fell in to line, all of which was about controling them and gaining more power not about supporting the industrialists. Tim
