We adore Groundhog day. We watch it as a family, and quote freely from it.

I'm a big fan of needlenose Ned.

I'd have to rank it at or near the Top of my Big List. I'm a cult follower, I guess. I thought my wife and I were alone in our deep reverence for this original, thoughtful and truly inspirational movie. My kids love it and every year they see in it deeper and deeper meanings. It's fun to watch them develop an appreciation for the truly remarkable levels of fine detail and incredible wit involved. A masterpiece, hung from the screen like a fine tapestry. Literally the movie that "It's a Wonderful Life!" aimed for, but missed being, IMO.

I think I adore "Groundhog Day". It was out for years before I watched it the first time, only because nothing else was on. I had figured it too sweet for me, and generally don't enjoy many modern comedies. But what a movie! It is now one of the few I watch over and over. And I think it is a good one to watch now and again for a refresher course. :)

Thanks for the articles on it!
