I called many specific stocks short. I called put options on SDLI at close to 400 before it tanked to 70 within weeks. I also said unload all long-term investments in the NAZ. Now, how many core NAZ holdings are up since 9/21/00? There may be more than one, but right now only EBAY comes to mind. How about WCOM? Down to zero. And many others either zero or single digits from the hundreds.

But, you go ahead and rearrange reality to suit your purpose. I imagine when GOOG hits 70 you'll find a way to say this call was "irresponsible" as well.

quite a number of stocks are markedly higher from Naz 4000 - unless you were specifically naming certain stocks , your call continues to be irresponsible overall.

Would selling this core NAZ holding in the 77-99 range in September, 2000 have been "irresponsible" in your humble opinion? Holding on for the 1-25 reverse split?
