>>where did people like this learn to think?<<

that assumes they do ... might be a stretch??

Aren't TV news blaring this refrain for the last 4 days: elections in Iraq prove the naysayers wrong.

If you broadcast it long enough on TV -- maybe 4 days -- that the world is indeed flat as our good President says, I think you'd get a lot of folks lining up behind him "in favor" of that proposition.

Good grief -- Bush has done nothing but call for permanent revolution for all the states that don't have American style or American friendly "democracies" and nobody in the media calls him on it.

What we really need is a revolution here -- to throw the entrenched politco-class into the street where they belong. Bush has done more to harm our security by expanding the deficit at the worst possible time in our history than any other president -- not to mention the subversion of constitutional protections and right of due process.

What are we going to do if we get a "real" external threat to our security now, with half of the troops in Iraq made up of National Guard. What good are advanced weapon systems against guerilla warfare??

I'd say from the inaugural to this speech last night he has given any nation that might think they are on his list -- very good reasons for acquiring WMDs as fast as possible.
