Personally, I hope the US bans BOeing sale to China. Maybe that would force China to reexamine their policy and try everything they can to develop their own large-size civil airplane<g> Forget the Ban, I would just hope China obliges by buying jets from France or the UK Mish

Why would China have to develop its own large airliner mftr capability? They could just buy their planes from Airbus and hurt the US manufacturer (Boeing and all related subcontractors) once again. Oh, that's right - "national security". LOL.
