The 60%+ voting turnout and the fact that this turnout was despite the threat of "blood in the streets". That screams out the fact that the Iraqis are willing to die for democracy and freedom. That is cause for tremendous hope, because ultimately that type of courage is what will be required for them to win their country for themselves. Just like in Vietnam, right? It's happening. You just don't see it yet, but then again, you are incredibly blinded by your hatred of Bush. Uh...huh! Just like in Vietnam. Do you not believe in learning from the past? ted
