It's interesting that those whose political views lean to the left tend to throw the word "treason" around with great abandon, when they believe that an American government official had any connections with Israel (whether he was in government employ at the time or not). But these same accusers often turn a blind eye on the far more "treasonist" activities of left-leaning politicians (such as much of the behind-the-scenes activity between the Clinton administration and China during the nineties). Many of those who have a penchant to cry "treason" would be much more credible if they didn't always employ a double standard.

What was the treason Perle committed...?

Sounds like he gave good advice.....but there is nothing treasonous about it......I suggest you read the Constitution so you know what the word means.....

As for Byrd....his KKK past is a fact....and it has been revealed that Wilson lied about his work in Africa....
