It was one of the most pathetic things Kerry said during his campaign, and, IMO, would be one of the thing he would erase (if he could go back in time and change things). Did you listen to the man when he was in the U.S.? It was totally evident that he was reading speeches written by Bush's speechwriters. And he's not just putting his life on the line for the cause of democracy... he's a friggin' President! He's got lots of power, and some renown. Not a bad deal. -Z

Someone who puts his life on line for the cause of democracy is a stooge? His countrymen don't seem to appreciate mr allawy as much as you do. They voted his party out of office in the latest show of democracy. You folks seem to confuse things as they are with how you wish them to be. I wonder if it is possible to have been as wrong about things as consistently as you are, and still have the gall to show up on these boards arguing the same tired old arguments. Al
