These boards love to label, Grainne.. Now you are a leftist.. As opposed I guess to a rightest... Once you are labeled you are negated. Don't you know that. It puts you in a so called CAMP...and of course leftist is the worst camp to be in. It means you disagree( with maybe the majority ).. That you have thoughts that are objectionable and you take a stand for those thoughts. You redefine yourself as a moderate. Now, why would you reject leftist.? Is it because it has become an ugly word and that's a shame. It almost is synonymous with the Devil, Satan ? As opposed to God or Deliverers from evil which of course the rightists do. Well, I will disengage myself here. It's objectionable to me that we have name calling at all... dumb,stupid,dim wit, and so on. However, I guess it is the way some posters get their point across ...
